P&L Transmissions and Auto Repair has been a trusted automotive repair and maintenance provider in Lompoc, California, since 1987. Antonio bought into the business in 2005. Cesar bought into the company in 2020, the shop consists of 2 buildings, and we have six lifts. With over three decades of experience, our skilled technicians have the expertise to diagnose and repair various vehicle issues. Cesar was born and raised in Jalisco, Mexico, came to the US in 1996, went to Lompoc High School, graduated in 1999, went to auto trade school in Phoenix, AZ, at the Universal Technical Institute, graduated and came back to Lompoc, and worked at a local Dodge/Chrysler dealership for 5 years. After that, he worked at Sunset Auto Center and worked for GM for 12 years and completed his training as a GM Certified Technician. He became a smog technician in 2012. He received the Mark of Excellence Award from GM in 2016 and 2018. He loves sports, attending live games, especially Dodger and soccer games, and spending time with his kids. He has a 2.5-year-old daughter and a ten-month-old baby. He became owner in 2020, and after a challenging year, he kept his business going. Our goals were and are to keep helping customers with all their vehicle needs and services. Antonio was born and raised in Michoacan, Mexico and came to the US in 1997; like many others, he came to the USA looking for a better life, He is married with two boys, a 15-year-old and 10-year-old. He started as an employee at P&L Transmissions in 1999 and after many years of service had the opportunity to become an owner and took advantage of it. In 2010, I got married; and with the support of my wife, have been here helping others with all their vehicle needs.
